America's Top 10 Campgrounds

Hi There,

My name is Perry and I own a camping tent review website. I just wrote an article on the top campgrounds in the US, and I thought it might be of some interest to you and your readers. I had a lot of fun writing it, so I really hope you enjoy reading it. I'd love any feedback you might have!

Here's the html in case you want to share the article on your site.

Jointed Hardbaits

by John Neporadny Jr

The biggest bass ever caught, at least in the U.S., fell for the alluring moves of a jointed hardbait. Despite producing a record catch, the jointed hardbait's popularity waned over the decades. But they've experienced a recent renaissance as anglers have found them ideal for emulating offshore, suspending baitfish like blueback herring and gizzard shad.

Fishing Tip

In the smaller lakes I have noticed the bigger fish are bedding a bit deeper,  not to be confused with farther from the shore either.  Look for shore lines that have a 30 to 40 degree grade decline just off the bank that levels off at about or around 7' deep.  If the lake has allot of shore access for bank anglers you should seek out areas that are not easily accessed from the bank, fish the area slow and leave a gap between you and the fish allowing your bait the opportunity to cover more ground.  That coupled with a quick decline can provide lots of quality fish . In the clearer lakes look for area that have heavy hydrilla 2 or 3 feet off the shore and then begins the quick decline in grade.

Dock Dynamics

by David Brown

You have to wonder how often folks with waterfront homes hop in their boats and drive away from some of the lakes best fishing. In many cases, boat docks offer some of the most predictable and dependable bass action you can find.

A Soft Spot For Walleyes

by Gord Pyzer

When most anglers think about using soft plastics to catch walleyes, a grub is almost certainly at the top of the list. Walleye anglers have probably caught more fish using grubs over the years...
